Saturday Night Peter, Peter Kay


Peter Kay is one of Britain’s best loved comedians and comic actors.  Following on from his million selling autobiography, The Sound of Laughter, Saturday Night Peter rejoins him as his stand-up career is just taking off following him to the Edinburgh Festival where he wins the Channel 4 'So You Think You're Funny?' competition and is shortlisted for the Perrier award. For the next few years he serves his comedy apprenticeship working the comedy club circuit the length and breadth of Britain, where he meets a whole host of unforgettable characters from chain-saw-juggling lizards to suicidal magicians and some of the most outrageous tribute acts to ever have graced a stage.
