YELLOW JERSEY PROFILE
Launched in 1998 by Rachel Cugnoni, Yellow Jersey Press is a sports publisher with a literary edge.
Although covering all sports, Yellow Jersey is perhaps best known for its stellar cycling books, which includes the award-winning, mega-selling It’s Not About the Bike by Lance Armstrong, and his equally successful follow-up Every Second Counts, as well as ground-breaking, critically acclaimed titles from William Fotheringham, Jeremy Whittle and Paul Kimmage, whose seminal book Rough Ride tackles head-on the devastating link between cycling and drugs.
In 2005 Yellow Jersey published the critically lauded My Father and Other Working Class Football Heroes, by Gary Imlach, which went on to win the William Hill Sports Book of the Year award.
Yellow Jersey is the home to titles from some of sport’s greatest heroes, such as Lance Armstrong, Frank Bruno, Diego Maradona and Seve Ballesteros, and some of sport’s greatest writers including Richard Williams, Charles Rangeley-Wilson, and the hilarious Tim Moore.
