The Eden Project brings plants and people together. It is dedicated to developing a greater understanding of our shared global garden, encouraging us to respect plants – and to protect them.
Opened in March 2001, the Eden Project in Cornwall has become one of the UK's most popular tourist attractions.Covering an area of 35 football pitches, the Eden Project is home to 135,000 plants from 4,500 different species.
In 2002 Random House Children's Books joined forces with The Eden Project to create a publishing programme of fresh and innovative titles for children. Eden Project children's books aim to educate children about the importance of appreciating, and looking after, the world around them.
